Anatoli Studios Skopelos town
Anatoli studios Skopelos town with sea views and located in an elevated position. Booked online, I was attracted to the sea views across the town and port area. Online we had booked a shuttle transfer to the studios, but due to us arriving late, we used a taxi instead. Our ferry was late, possibly due to the horrendous storm, which you can read about on my other pages.
We walked down the steps and knocked on the blue door. We were greeted by our host Katerina. She invited us inside for coffee and walnut cake. In her limited English and our limited Greek, we managed to understand each other. Katerina then took us next door and down some steps to the studios.
The balcony doors opened to a lovely vista. Red roof topped houses, church towers, the sea and port and the town.
Well equipped room
Anatoli Studios Skopelos town have a private bathroom with shower. A comfy double bed. Well equipped utensils, kettle and fridge. A stove and crockery and cutlery. The bedding and towels were changed during our 2 night stay. A tv and air con also included.
Walking in to town
The ‘price to pay’ for having a stunning sea view room, are the steps to and from the town. Due to the elevated position, whether we used the road to the right, or the steps at the side of the studios entrance, we found it hard work. We are not as fit as we should be and we kept getting lost, despite Katerina giving us verbal instructions. There are signs nearly everywhere for ‘Anna’s restaurant so as long as we kind of followed these, we were never too far away.
Going down to the town wasn’t so bad. After a meal, coming back up, the steps seemed to be never ending and steeper and steeper. Anyway, it was only for 2 nights, so I am only moaning! We hired a car for half a day to see the Mamma Mia sights [ in the rain] and that provided a respite from the steps for a bit.
Anatoli Studios Skopelos town is ideal for what we wanted to see and do.
